DESCRIPTION: This yellow-leaf Smokebush will bring a unique hue to the border. New foliage emerges with just a touch of red. Smoky yellow flowers appear in June and July, followed by a fiery orange-red fall color, changing from the bottom up. Particularly attractive when planted near bronze-leafed shrubs such as DiaboloÆ. Prefers well-drained soil in full or part sun. Discovered at the Dutch nursery of Willem Sanders in 1990. (Cô)
