DESCRIPTION: Similar to Red Ozier and Cardinal, but with a deeper, wine-red stem color and a more compact form. A four-season beauty with white blossoms in May, pleasant green foliage in summer, giving way to bright red berries in fall and finally the outstanding winter stem color. Excellent for mass planting and also an effective bank cover. Good plant for wildlife. Selected by Roy Alleman, Spring Meadow Nursery.
