DESCRIPTION: Developed at North Dakota State University, this tree was selected for its narrow, columnar habit. After several years, bark matures to a yellow white. Tolerant of heat, drought, and alkaline soils, it has shown excellent resistance to bronze birch borer through testing in North Dakota.
