This Michael Dirr introduction has beautiful large, black-purple, fragrant flowers with lustrous, glossy almost blue-green foliage. A vigorous grower, attractive to butterflies, and is a good cut flower. This succulent cane shrub flowers on new growth and therefore is best pruned to the ground in the spring. Full sun.
