Botanical Name Common Name
A beautiful intergeneric cross between heuchera and tiarella introduced in 1955 by famed English plantsman Alan Bloom. Blooms from spring through summer and sometimes even into autumn with 15-18" tall spikes of pale pink bell shaped flowers atop a mound of neat evergreen foliage similar to Tiarella. Performs best in part shade to shady sites (but will tolerate full sun in moist soils) and mixes especially well with hostas and ferns in the shade garden. Prefers evenly moist, well-drained soils.
