Genetic dwarf introduced by the University of MN in 1952. Large, bright red fruit. Mildly acid in flavor. Fine for sauce or pie. Generally regarded as slightly hardier than North Star. Standard, 8-10'. Blooms approximately May 11. Height 10-14'.
