Weigela subsessilis 'Canary'

Canary Weigela

Selected by Dr. Richard Lighty of the Mt. Cuba Center in Delaware from plants obtained in Korea, Canary is noted for its pale yellow flowers, which do not fade to red as the species does. This cultivar really expands the color palette of weigelas with the first true yellow we've made available. Canary is at its best in full sun to very light shade.
