Botanical Name Common Name
The perfect evergreen for low, mass plantings because of its bold texture, ever changing foliage color and its natural propensity to spread. In spring, new growth emerges with a bronze-red color and clusters of sweet smelling bright yellow blossoms. With the approach of autumn, foliage takes on a purple cast and is occasionally accompanied by blue-black berries. Appreciates some dappled shade and well-drained soil.
