A Bailey Nurseries introduction, this Japanese Red Barberry was selected for its excellent red color and uniform habit. The upright form of this cultivar lends itself well for use as a specimen, hedge or barrier plant. The stems are quite thorny. It prefers moist, but well-drained soils and full sun. (C®)
